Artificial intelligence can be briefly described as combining large amounts of data with fast, iterative processing and intelligent algorithms, allowing software to learn automatically from patterns or features in the data.
AI is short for artificial intelligence, which is the ability of machines to sense their environment, deal with what they detect and solve problems. Natural language processing and speech recognition, for example, are some specific applications of AI.
A branch of artificial intelligence is speech recognition technology, which is used by companies in many business areas to support digitalization and speed up workflows.
Solutions such as the Alrite speech to text app can automatically recognize speech and generate text from it, which is the essence of automatic transcription systems.
Transcriptions can make recorded materials such as interviews and meetings, phone calls readable, retrievable so in this form it is easier to analyze them. Transcripts and captions support the deaf and hard of hearing by making the audio and video content accessible. Furthermore, adding text to video content increases SEO ranking too.
Transcription is used in many different areas, for example it is a helpful tool for journalists in the media sector for recording and processing interviews. It helps saving loads of time in the social and governmental sector by automatically generating minutes of the general assembly. Speech to text solution is popular in the academic life among researchers in complying their qualitative analysis of interviews.
The Alrite speech to text application uses artificial intelligence-based algorithms to transcribe and caption speech. The Alrite speech to text application offers an efficient alternative to time-consuming typing and to make audio or video material retrievable, supporting digitization processes.
With Alrite, you can convert meetings and conferences into minutes in a minimum of time. Optimised for automatically converting interviews, podcasts and meetings into text, Alrite creates an editable e-note from audio in seconds.
In addition to the editable transcript, the Alrite speech to text app also generates automatic video captions. Video captioning can be easily used to make video content accessible, making it possible to add custom captions to your videos, short videos with burned in captions are becoming widely popular on social media platforms.
The Alrite speech to text app converts audio to text, the transcripts and the timecoded captions can be automatically translated to other languages by a single click directly from the portal, making media content easily accessible to international audiences.
Furthermore, the algorithms of the Alrite speech recognition software solution enable not only the processing of pre-recorded audio but also real-time captioning of audio and video materials from various sources. This usage mode is available in the Professional business package through the Live Streaming menu, which can be found alongside the main functions in the application header.

Real-time transcription and captioning, and the processing of pre-recorded content offer two distinct options in the Alrite speech recognition application. Processing pre-recorded content is available in all subscription packages, allowing users to create recordings directly, upload audio and video files, or various social media videos, which the system then converts into text. During post-processing, the speech recognition algorithms analyze the entire file, generating precise and contextually relevant text versions that are immediately accessible in the user account after upload.
In contrast, the real-time processing method focuses on live content, such as online broadcasts, rather than pre-recorded content of specific lengths, typically with a few seconds of delay. The system can almost immediately display the generated captions on a designated platform as soon as it receives the current audio source, though it does not have prior context, which can lead to occasional retrospective corrections in the text.
Real-time processing is especially useful at conferences, presentations, and online meetings where immediate on-screen display is essential.
In summary, processing pre-recorded content is done afterward, while real-time transcription and captioning continuously convert spoken content into text as it is spoken.
If you wish to transcribe and caption your content or voice in real time, this is easily achievable with the Live Stream function. This feature allows you to process speech recorded via microphone or audio and video files played on your device in real time. The function settings enable you to specify key broadcast parameters, such as the language of the speech to be processed and the broadcast title.
During the broadcast, you can pause or stop the process, and at the end, the system automatically generates a transcript that participants can access.
Real-time processing functions are available only to users with the Professional package.
If you want to process your online content in real time, the Live Streaming feature allows you to easily add captions to live streams.
The settings for this feature let you define key parameters, such as the language of the speech to be processed and the title of the broadcast.
During the broadcast, you can pause or stop the stream as needed. The system automatically generates captions from the speech, and at the end of the broadcast, the transcript can be saved and shared with both the broadcaster and viewers.
Real-time processing features are available exclusively for users with the Professional package.
An unlimited number of accounts can be invited to the Alrite business subscriptions. The invited users can transcribe, caption and translate their own media directly in Alrite using the same timecredit.Accounts can be managed with three levels of authorisation:

The system and the underlying database are protected at several levels. Data may only be accessed for servicing purposes by professionals authorised by our company, subject to strict security standards, with the user’s authorisation and with a log of the operations carried out on the system.
The text generated from the audio and video files processed in certain Alrite subscription packages with extended functionality can be automatically translated to other languages using DeepL. If you use this function, please note that the privacy policy of the DeepL application and information on the data controller of the application can be found at the following link: https://www.deepl.com/en/pro-data-security/
The summary generation and keyword extraction features available in Plus and Premium packages are supported by the Open AI service provider. We offer various business subscription packages within Alrite with different functionalities:
If you require additional service, please contact us for a quotation via the ‘Contact menu’ or by e-mail at: business@alrite.io
In the web application, you can initiate an order by clicking the ‘Subscription’ button in the top menu.
Select the currency, the subscription package, and specify the time credit (the number of hours you wish to purchase – one-time payment). Choose the payment method from the options (Stripe or PayPal). After successful payment, the subscription is automatically activated in the account.
All subscriptions require a minimum order of 10 hours of timecredit that you can use in 1 year.
If you require a customized or additional service, feel free to send us a request for a quote via your account or contact us directly at support@alrite.io
The timecredit ordered can be used within 1 year, at any time, there is no monthly subscription obligation.
If you need more time during the subscription period, you can purchase additional time (min 10 hours) with a new order.
If you order again before the end of the subscription period, before your timecredit runs out, the remaining timecredit from the previous subscription will be automatically added to the new one, and its usage time will be extended, valid for 1 year from the date of the new purchase.
The timecredit is automatically deducted per second based on the length of the audio or video material uploaded or recorded directly in the app.
The transcript and captions of files uploaded in Premium subscription are automatically generated at the same time, the length of the media is deducted only once processing.
The automatic translation function does not use up any extra time credits.
The main difference between the Prime and Premium package is the captioning feature.
The process of changing the plan is the same as for a new order.
When you place an order, the remaining timecredit is automatically converted to the new package and added to the new subscription. The timecredit calculation can be viewed in the interface before finalizing the order.
When changing from the Prime package to the Premium, which includes video captioning and captions burned in export, the timecredit is automatically reduced proportionally based on the difference in price, and vice versa.
Files retain the features of the package at the time of processing.
Following each successful order placed from the Alrite speech to text web application, an electronic invoice will be sent to the e-mail address associated with the account automatically, with the details provided when subscribing.
Furthermore, invoices related to orders can be viewed and downloaded directly from the ‘Orders’ menu at any time.
By referring the Alrite speech to text app, you can get free timecredit. We will credit you with a reward timecredit when a user you have invited – via the ‘Invite Friends’ link in the app – subscribes to one of our subscription plans for the first time.
At the same time as placing the order, we will reward both you and your invitee with 1-1 hour of free timecredit. Find out more details in the Alrite application
The Alrite speech to text mobileapp can be downloaded from the App Store or from the the Google Play application stores for free.
Automated speech to text services can convert pre-existing or recorded audio material into text within seconds or minutes. They do so with the help of AI.
For instance, the Alrite speech to text software utilizes AI to provide speech transcription in 12 languages, automated translation, automated captioning, and more!
The accuracy of the automated transcript depends first and foremost on the quality of the audio or video file recorded or uploaded, and the intelligibility of the speech.
The accuracy of the transcript generated in the Alrite speech to text app can be affected by several factors: the acoustic conditions of the room, the multi-directional sound source, the volume of the speech and the distance of the speakers from the microphone.
A good quality transcript can be as accurate as 90-95%. By increasing the volume of the speech and shortening the distance between the speaker and the recording device, by placing the speaker in the right direction, the intelligibility of the recorded speech and thus the accuracy of the resulting transcript can be greatly improved.
If you are recording with a mobile device:
All features of the Alrite speech to text web application require a stable internet connection, while with the mobile application audio or video can be recorded offline.
Once recorded with the Alrite mobile app, the recording is stored in the mobile device’s memory and is temporarily (as long as it remains logged in) added to the ‘Files waiting to be Uploaded’ in the Alrite mobile app.
In order to generate transcript and captions of the mobile app recording, you will need to upload the file, which again requires an internet connection.
Only the individual users (for private use) can subscribe in the Alrite mobile app, as payment is made via the App Store or Google Play account linked to the mobile device and the invoice is issued by the company running the store based on the data stored there.
You can choose to upload the file immediately before processing recordings recorded with the Alrite mobile app, or you can listen back, save and send the recording.
Files that you do not want to process immediately after you have finished recording in the mobile app are temporarily (while you remain logged into the app) stored in the phone’s internal memory and are stored in a separate folder in the app, from which you can upload or delete them.
Video recording is also possible in the Alrite mobile app, after enabling access to the phone’s microphone and camera.
